Team of H.O.P.E. Treats Area Youths to First Ever #MotivationalMonday

February 1, 2019

Miami, FL – Feb. 1, 2019 – Enrique Rodriguez, Executive Director of The Team of H.O.P.E., announced that the organization’s first #Motivational Monday event was a resounding success. The inaugural event featured students from one Miami-Dade County Public School to hear an inspirational and uplifting talk from Motivational Speaker Alex Bailey of Dreamers and Believers TV.

“We’re pleased to be able to create human connections across communities everywhere,” said Mr. Rodriguez.

Fifty select students from Thomas Jefferson Middle School participated in the event. They were taken on an outing to Capital One Café on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach where they played icebreaker games, listened to words of encouragement from Alex Bailey and received education on the importance of financial saving from the staff at Capital One. Students received swag bags and enjoyed a catered lunch before returning to school.

The Team of H.O.P.E. is a non-profit, all-volunteer charitable organization that conducts events throughout the year and holds a variety of recurring philanthropic and enrichment projects designed to help and motivate the area’s youth. The group’s programs include feeding the homeless, drives to collect school supplies, supporting relief efforts and starting this year they have adopted 2 locations in Miami-Dade, where they’ve pledged to complete cleaning and landscaping projects dedicated to creating beautiful gateways, corridors and connections.

The group also paints murals in the community, creates duffle bags for foster children, and holds private movie screenings throughout the year. Parents can also accompany their children to the organization to fulfill their school’s community service credit.

The organization accomplishes its goals by partnering with other civic and charitable groups, along with donors from some of the largest and most well-known companies in the world. The group accepts donations, always welcomes volunteers, and anyone can sponsor a program.

The first #Motivational Monday event held by The Team of H.O.P.E provided a day of food, fun, education and motivation for students. The organization plans to continue the event and extend the opportunity to students at other area schools. The group’s projects are designed to provide participants with important skills, offer motivation, and enrich the lives of everyone within the community.
