Tools4School 

Literacy is one of the most important skills needed to succeed in our society. Regardless of where you live, access to books or the materials needed to learn is a challenge for some children. Providing access to books and school supplies for underserved children helps to reduce a major barrier to learning. A school supply drive is an easy way to have a profound impact on students and their learning experience. Make school a better place for both students and teachers by the simple act of providing school supplies.​
Your donation of $25 gives 1 child a "HOPE TRUNK"
Included inside of a trunk is everything one would need to have a successful start to the school year!

There are many families in our communities who struggle to provide their children with school supplies needed to help them succeed. The deep impact of COVID-19 in our community has forced local families to continue to make difficult decisions each day between food, utilities, and now, supplies for their children to be prepared to learn in the new school year. With high unemployment, and more than 30 million students enrolled in the free and reduced meal programs, many parents are unable to provide the basic school supplies their children need to be effective. In addition, schools across the country are facing severe budget cuts and lack the funding to purchase necessary supplies.
 
Here at Team of H.O.P.E., we recognize that need and feel that we are called to help these families by providing their children with the tools they will need to have a great school year. We love our community and our goal is to make a difference in the lives of those who live in it.
 
Our 2023 Tools4School campaign will start on July 1st, 2023 You can help children in school by giving them the tools they need to succeed. There are many great reasons to donate to our Tools 4 School campiagn including:
 
  • Feel great about ensuring that children start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
  • Help teachers by providing them with proper tools for their classrooms so they don’t have to spend money from their own pockets.
  • By providing school supplies, you are supporting students, teachers and your local schools.
 
Our 13th Annual Tools4School Campaign seeks to provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students whose families struggle to afford these items.

The success of this years drive depends on your support and there are many ways to contribute:
 
1. Purchase supplies via our registries: Visit our registries at Target or Amazon to buy school supplies for students. A few small clicks and you’ve made a big difference.
​
2. Make a donation. You can make a monetary donation to our drive. Here. All donations will be used to purchase bulk school supplies. We make this easy with our all-inclusive “hope box”, with each purchase you will donate all the essentials a child needs to have a successful start to the school year.
​
3. Donate new backpacks or school supplies. We gladly accept in-kind donations of new backpacks and school supplies! Please contact our Manager of Volunteer Programs & Community Engagement, Angie Rodriguez, to arrange a drop-off.
